RevyTech AI is the AI systems division of RevyTech, based in Revelstoke, BC. This page explains, in plain language, what personal information we handle when you contact us or use this website, why we handle it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and honest — if anything here is unclear, ask us.
What we collect
- Lead form and booking details. Your name, business, email, phone, and whatever you tell us about what's eating your time when you fill in a form or book a call.
- Email and message correspondence. What you send us and our replies, so we can follow your enquiry through.
- Call recordings. When enabled Only once we turn on call tracking for our phone line. There is no live phone line recording anything today; when there is, we'll say so on the call.
- Website analytics. If / when enabled Basic, privacy-respecting usage data (like which pages are visited) if and when we switch analytics on.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, book and run your free assessment, prepare a quote, deliver work you've asked for, and stay in touch about an engagement that's underway. That's it. We don't gather personal information for its own sake, and we don't sell it.
Where it's processed
Up front, not buried: to answer phones, read messages, and power the AI features we build, your information may be sent to our AI (large language model) and telephony providers to be processed. Some of those providers run on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. We tell you this plainly because it matters. We use reputable providers and share only what's needed to do the job.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for your enquiry or engagement. If you ask us to delete what we hold about you, we will — unless the law requires us to keep it for a while longer.
Your rights under PIPEDA and BC PIPA
Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) give you real rights over your information. You can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get access to it.
- Ask us to correct information that's wrong or out of date.
- Withdraw your consent to our use of your information (subject to any legal or contractual limits).
- Complain — to us first, and to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC (BC OIPC) if you're not satisfied.
Marketing email and SMS (CASL)
We follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. We only send marketing email or text messages if you've given us express consent, every message includes an easy way to unsubscribe that we honour promptly, and we never buy, rent, or use purchased contact lists.
If you're a client
When you engage us for a project, your contract includes a data-processing addendum that spells out how we handle your business's data and your customers' data — including the cross-border processing noted above — on the accounts you own and control.
